Primary Sources & Soundary Sources
My research topic is on the collapse of the Mayan empire during the classic era. And I will be discussing the
reaction about Mel Gibson movie Apocalypto. I will focus for reasearch topic how did people and
historians reaction to Apocaltypo movie and how accurate was the movie towards the Mayans. How was the
reaction in latin america and how did they feel about it. My primary sources for my research will be the
movie Apocalytpo and my secondary sources will be articles and journals about the mayans and articles
about the movie Apocaytpo.I'm excited to do this research about the mayans and I hope to get more
articles and materials in the Library of Congress.
